Door Entry Systems
............................................................................................................
Access Systems can be a single door with a lock release to a
multi-door system with a card-swipe to gain entry.
-
Teledoor Bell
A teledoor bell is an ideal residential application for a single door. When
a visitor pushes the units doorbell button, the house phones ring with a
distinct ring and the occupant can communicate with the visitor using the
house phones. This allows the home owner to talk to the visitor from any
phone in the house without opening the door.
-
Multi-Dwelling Units
Multi-dwelling units are normally used in an apartment building with
different doorbells for each apartment. Each apartment is equipped with a
handset to allow them to answer the call from the front door without opening
the door. These systems can also unlock the door if the occupant wants to
give entry to the visitor.
-
Card
Access Systems
Card access systems are normally used where there are a large number of
people or employees using the premises. All entries are allowed with the
swipe of a card and are also recorded on-site and the history can be viewed
at a later date. These systems can give different card-holders different
levels of access within the same building at different times of the day or
on different days of the week. These systems can accomodate hundreds of
users. If a card is lost or stolen, it can easily be deleted from the system
and rendered useless.
